Funnily honest poster about the Rio 2016 Olympics game icons
If you use social media platforms, such as Twitter, you may have noticed that every time a certain game from the Rio 2016 Olympics becomes a trending topic, the hashtag is accompanied by a blue icon depicting said sport.
Aaron Gillie, a comedian and one of the people in charge of the parody Twitter account, ‘We Fix Your Advert’, has created this poster as a way of making fun of the icons that are only trying their best at depicting different games with little detail and little space.
This way, ‘Ultimate Ampersand’, ‘Violent Darts’ and ‘LITERALLY MAYHEM’ substitute gymnastics, archery and modern pentathlon. If you want to learn more about the Olympic sport pictograms and how they were created, you can visit the official website.
